Two fingers were placed on his forehead, and pressure was applied as he moved them in a slow circle. The blonde’s head was pounding, though he was at a loss as to why. He hadn’t used his power recently, and the day honestly hadn’t been too stressful. He caught on to all of his subjects as quickly and easily as he always had, and no one was really causing him any grief. He had no reason to have such a headache, and yet here it was. The milling and din of the other students around him didn’t really bother him, as he had learned to tune that out many years ago, but it certainly wasn't helping matters either. As much as he wanted to, he couldn’t really pay attention to everyone around him. Still, his fingers dug lightly into the unyielding metal of his locker door as yet another person brushed by him fairly roughly.
He took a deep breath, closing his pale eyes for a moment before he deposited his books in a neat row. The locker would slammed shut thereafter, and he would step into the crowd of students, allowing them to usher him toward his destination – which was what, exactly? He wasn’t sure. He just knew he didn’t want to go back home so soon after school was done. His uncle would surely give him some sort of menial or back-breaking task just depending on what needed to be done, but he had no interest in helping. While certain members of his “family” seemed to enjoy working on the farm, he held no such interest. The animals smelled, the hay was itchy, he could go on and on, really, about everything he hated on that farm.
Eventually he found himself removed from the crowd, stepping into an emptier hallway. A lot of the students were leaving for the day, heading home or out with their friends. He could have went home with Rose or something, he was sure, and for a brief moment he considered texting her, but then he decided against it. He would just stay here, it would be easier. His feet guided him toward the area of the school where the math and science classes were held. They were his favorite, aside from when history focused on warfare. Math came naturally to him, and as he stepped into one of the classrooms, he found an equation had been left on one of the boards. Rather than consider the fact that it probably wasn’t for him, he grabbed one of the dry-erase markers and uncapped it. His breaths came more evenly as his hand moved fluidly across the board, counting down the steps as he solved the equation.

Levi was rather tired. Abaddon continued to be a pain in his head, constantly inquiring about the world around him. Levi couldn’t fault him in general because of the lack of pure malice in his attentions. For the Angel of Abyss, or whatever he actually was, Levi knew he simply was curious about the world around him. However that didn’t mean he enjoyed getting asked what ‘x’ was and why people always used it to talk about a designate the thing you had to solve. Which was even harder to explain that ‘x’ wasn’t always the variable that they were trying to solve. In general, math was not his favorite, but it certainly wasn’t his worst. Gathering what he had needed from his other classes- he had promised the math teacher that he would continue to do some extra credit work to make up for his modeling mishaps when it interfered with his classwork. His ‘eagerness’ she claimed was much easier to make up for. So he smiled and bore a smile even if the tri-colored haired boy could have cared less about her ambitions in teaching him. That being said, Raphael had dragged him out for at least two days and he needed to make up the work. The first thing he noticed as he mulled around and away from the general populace leaving was that it was quieter and he enjoyed that. The second thing he noticed was when he walked into the room and saw a young boy close to his age. Blond hair like his bangs, but crisper eyes than Levi had. He gave a small blink, looking towards the board- seeing if the woman gave him a note- since she wasn’t in here. He didn’t recognize the boy, didn’t know if she was in her other class, but he gave a small sigh. “Did the teacher say when she would be back?” It was an abrupt start- but Levi walked in anyways, pulling out the two pieces of paper he had done. Exactly seventy five mind-numbing questions later, his extra credit was done. He had normally stayed afterwards to keep in her good graces, but he wasn’t sure where she had went. Abaddon was quiet momentarily in his head, giving him a much needed break as well. Levi wasn’t exactly sure if he even knew the boy in front of him. His introverted ways kept him from learning or caring about other people – though his friends managed to get him by with names. Tag:@ Isidor Faust // Izzy-butt.

Isidor took a step back and capped the marker, his bright blue gaze traveling over the equation he had solved. It had several steps, but as long as you kept things in order, it was not all together difficult. In fact, ignoring the time it took to get through the steps, it was rather simple. You just had to have a good base knowledge in math, which the young blonde had, if he had nothing else. The marker was placed on his chin as he looked over his work again, making sure that he hadn’t gone wrong anywhere. It was unlikely that anyone who mattered would see this and trace it back to him, but he didn’t want to leave any mistakes in it either. His eyes had gotten to the bottom of the equation once again when the door opened and broke his concentration. Immediately his head turned, his gaze falling on the male who stepped through the door.
Well.
He was noticeable.
It was the hair, mostly, that caught the blonde’s attention. The bangs were slightly normal. They were at least a natural color. Well, he supposed black and red were natural colors too, but they didn’t look very natural in the way he was wearing them. How had he even gotten his hair like that in the first place? He blinked, shoving thoughts of hair from his head. That didn’t matter. His gaze moved down – even more since the kid was already shorter than him – to take in the face and body. Those were normal enough, at least.
“She was not in here when I arrived.” He answered mere seconds after the question had been posed, his own voice sounding slightly odd to him since it had been awhile since he’d last heard it. His eyes fell to the pieces of paper in the other boy’s hands. “I have been in here for about ten minutes, so it is possible that she just stepped out for a moment.” He capped and uncapped the lid on the marker absently, causing a little popping noise to sound rhythmically. “You were needing to turn that in?” He went on to ask, angling his eyes toward the papers. He was quite certain he didn’t know the boy before him. He would remember someone who looked like that.

Levi blinked up at the blond- used to tilting his head practically always at least back enough to talk to anyone over four foot tall. Which was practically everyone in high school at this point- but he liked to think he would find someone shorter than him one day. There was that detective kid running around that Abaddon downright loved- but he was like…fourteen and somehow managed to fool the teachers into letting him skip that many grades. Purple eyes flicked to the marker as blue eyes moved to the paper as he questioned internally why the heck you would be in a math class if there was no reason to be. “Yeah. Extra credit. My job keeps me out during her class so it’s to keep my grade up.” Taking a few steps further into the classroom- he looked over the equation. Was the kid in here for tutoring? No, the equation looked right in his head, so it must have been for a different reason. Abaddon rumbled in his head and he inwardly prayed the spirit-god-angel-whatever the heck he was would stay quiet and out of the way just a bit longer. He wasn’t sure why the other boy phrased ‘in ten minutes’ as if he needed specifics, but he glided over to the desks and sat down, making himself comfortable briefly. “I would ask if you’re in here for tutoring, but considering the equation I’m counting it less likely. Extra credit too?” Resting his pale elbow on the desk then his chin on the back of his hand- his purple eyes showed almost bland interest to the reason- but he wouldn’t lose sleep or care that much if he didn’t get an answer either. He would wait a few minutes- but if she wasn’t back in a few minutes- then that was that. He would go home and take care of his grandparents like a good doting child would do. "To get the awkward name thing out of the way, I'm Levi. You are-?" It was a bit blunt- but Levi grew tired of waiting for people to dance around the subject enough so he went with the most direct route. It helped in modeling when he could generally care less about the gushing over works by the photographers. Tag:@ Isidor Faust
