Judas wasn’t exactly sure what today would bring what so ever. Past times he had simply stood around in the garage, looking for his companions and working. However today was a day he felt antsy. He wanted to walk- he wanted to drive around on his motorcycle- but considering he knew that the best time to do that was at night it wasn’t on his mind yet. Running his hand through his black and yellow hair, he only gave a brief look at the cars passing as he trekked down the sidewalk. He had ambled around the city- but had returned to the edge of the less populated part. One earbud playing rather bouncy electronic music was lodged in his ear that kept him entertained. The music wasn’t really the focus of his attention as he took in the sights around him. The smell of the city always reminded him of both home and a strange world. He was never sure why he was always stood the thin line from the towering metropolis to the more suburb like areas. Both appealed to him- but he highly doubted he belonged to either one. Either way- they both provided an adventure giving him something to do on the day that was just an itch under his feet. Blue eyes took in the sparse traffic and the cars pulled over and parked. Some made him glance over to see the basic things he enjoyed- or the ones he could tell cost more. While he did like motorcycles more than cars- he knew enough about both. Blue eyes traveled down the line before he paused briefly. A car was pulled over- and he could see it had a flat tire. A blink, and the rather introverted mechanic looked around for the owner. It didn’t look slashed- so he guessed the person drove over something. Well he could help if the person was around- so he walked a little closer from the opposite of the sidewalk to curiously look around for the owner. Tag:@ Aric Delancy

Opportunity to spend time off duty was rare for Aric indeed. Even when he was off duty his mind was always working the same way. The man practically was the embodiment of his job skills in many ways. The way he always observed people, the way he spoke to them, the passion he held in his eyes even when there was nothing for him to be passionate about visible. Despite everything he'd been through it hadn't changed the core of his being. The person he was going to be was the person he'd always been. Even if it had taken him some time to figure that out after everything that had happened to him.
It was days like this when he missed his son the most. As he sat in his car realizing he'd forgotten his cell phone at the department. The silence that filled the car was accented by the sounds muffled around the outside of the car. Passing people, passing cars, the busy life outside of his silent world. He remembered when that silence was met with the nightly cries of his infant son, he remembered the fulfilled feeling his life had when he'd cradled that small boy in his arms, and how much moments like that had meant. Though, unlike most people who would have fallen into depression at such thoughts, Aric only smiled. Cherished moments were something to be happy about, even if they were gone now, but he couldn't sit there forever. He supposed he had to figure out what to do about that tire.
In all his life he could count the number of times he'd had a flat tire on one hand. Usually his girlfriend had handled that, even when they got married, but now he was alone. He'd just have to learn on the go. What could go wrong right? After getting out of the car he wandered about it, trying to figure out where to start, uncertain how he was supposed to change it when the tire was facing traffic. Last thing he needed was to get hit by a car while changing his tire. Yet he carefully moved around to crouch in front of said tire. Looking it over as his hand placed against the tread. "You would have to give out on me now." he spoke aloud toward that tire. Amusement lacing his thickly french-accented voice.
Aric looked around a bit for a payphone, maybe there was one, after all it wouldn't be the strangest thing in this world right now. Or maybe someone would have a phone to let him borrow to call for help. Either way his eyes caught sight of someone looking toward him, judging by the path of their steps, and the expression upon their face they seemed to be searching for someone. It was likely him, he assumed because of his situation and the lack of others nearby that were stopping to help, "Ah, Pardon me!" he called over toward the figure. "Would you happen to have a phone I could borrow to call for a tow? " he questioned with a kind smile written upon his lips. It was ass genuine as ever as he was still calm even despite his troubles.

There was a small tilt of his head giving a glance towards those around. He did enjoy the occasional people watching escapade- however he preferred staring at scenery. No one seemed to be put out by this fact- though his hands were itching to help and get his hands on something mechanical again. Even if it was a simple few wrenches, bolts, and a jack. To be honest- while introverted he was- he genuinely felt happy when he could help someone. Even if it was simple like this. He expected it to probably be someone who had little idea about it since he didn’t see the trunk open where all the equipment would be. Though considering that the jack set was usually the first thing to go on the car…he would probably have to call someone. A small frown appeared on his mostly curious face as he looked up briefly at blond who appeared on the other side of the car. Probably older than him- though the six foot man wasn’t going to guess an age. Green eyes stared back at him and Judas fought the urge to root to the ground like the incapable man he was. Letting out a small breath of air as the man spoke and came closer- Judas had to force himself to remember the great deal of kindness and how he enjoyed helping people. An awkward twitch of his lips later- he finally reached the car and the other man. It honestly took a moment for Judas to understand him due to understand him. “If you have a set and a spare- I can help you.” His voice sounded a bit loud to his ears- but that’s probably only because one ear was still blocked by the bright electronic music. “I’m a mechanic.” Judas felt the need to clarify- just for the sake of things. The blue eyed man gave a small blink- he did have his phone- but considering he didn’t even know any towing places besides the ones that worked with the garage…and they were short staffed- he didn’t know how long it would take. Plus, the car was reasonably well maintained- though the hubcaps could use a shine. Sliding a hand into his pocket to pull out the music player and cut it off- Judas felt a bit safer in understanding what he said. “What happened to it?” Judas heard himself ask faintly- knowing it was a rather normal question he had to ask. Did it blow? Did he run over something? Judas had no idea personally- so asking couldn’t have hurt. Tag:@ Aric Delancy
