He was discovered by a few of the local prostitutes who waned to adopt him into their home. They brought him into their home, a well known brothel of sorts, but the madame of the house was a cruel woman named Carmela who treated the women as her property. However do to their pleading and whining Carmela allowed them to keep the child if only they increase their output. The women were gleeful and named him Marzio. He grew up with women doting on him, he was the light of their lives and they cared for him very much, however all the woman were very young and had little knowledge of caring for babies. Because of this Marzio would spend many nights crying for something, food, attention, or a change of diaper and all this crying would only make Carmela grow bitter towards the child. At the age of six Marzio was made to work around the brothel, he would clean the every room and attend the door for clients, Carmela would not have some leech in her home. Although his adoptive mothers would try to keep him in the dark as much as they could about what they did in the house they couldn't hide every aspect of their lives. At a young age Marzio was exposed to explicit scenes of sex and drug abuse, things his young mind couldn't process. It was difficult for him and he would often shy away from everyone else and recede into a world of his own. For his tenth birthday he received a set of paints, he was ecstatic about it and would constantly be filling pieces of paper with colorful portraits. It wasn't too long before his room was filled with paintings, they were grand in number and each one was telling a story, whether it was about how Marzio had saw a beautiful bird outside the window or a fantasy world he had created. The paintings were his escape. Around the time Marzio had turned twelve life had taken a dark turn. Carmela had called upon Marzio and asked him what would he do if he could no longer stay at the house. Marzio didn't understand the question and Insignia Level 1 Puppet-master - Level 1 - Marzi has the ability to conjure seemingly invisible threads that assume control over whatever they are attached to. To activate this effect Marzi’s hands must first make contact with whatever it is he wants to control, such as if he were to touch someone’s arm he would spin his thread and would only have control over the area he touched like the wrist, elbow, or forearm. He can summon and endless amount of thread and the thread itself is seemingly indestructible with the closer someone is the stronger the thread is. Even though the thread Marzi can conjure is endless it has a limited length it can reach. The thread can reach about 15 meters (50 feet) before it can no longer stretch and is easily broken. Marzi can keep using his Puppet-master ability for approximately 20 minutes depending on how much thread is being used and how physically taxing the situation is on Marzi’s body. Prolonged use of Puppet-master will cause physical damage on Marzi’s body, mainly to his joints, tendons, and ligaments. His insignia is a small tattoo of a black spider, he has one in the palm of each hand. Passive - Pino - A small wooden puppet designed to look like a circus clown with a white face, red lips (constantly in a smug grin), and beady black eyes. He stands barely a foot tall and has a pink, black, and white color scheme for his clothes. Pino is rude and mouthy in contrast the the eerily cheerful and cordial Marzi, he is often hanging off of Marzi’s shoulder and never strays far from him. Though Pino seems to despise all of humanity and would rather them cry than smile he seems to have an affinity for Marzi and considers himself Marzi’s “confidant”. He will not stand for insults or ill-intent toward Marzi and those who speak anything of will be met with an ear-piercing scolding. Extra - His birthday is May 22. - Loves to paint and sometimes keeps art supplies on him (Paint, bushes, markers, ects). Marzi will often be stricken a burst of inspiration and want to create something immediately. - Despite his cold and malicious nature towards others he does genuinely love Agostino and thinks of him as his real father. - He does not call himself a girl just prefers to dress as one. - Marzi himself seems afraid of Marzio but also feels sad for him. Marzi will remember everything Marzio does and vice-versa. - Loves all kinds of art forms not just painting, he also enjoys singing, dancing, and film.
