People might wonder what it was like, being born a long time ago - and perhaps in a place that few understood. Whatever the means or the method, Theresa was born to a high, noble family - the Mysste. Their connection with their common ancestor, the Primrose, allows them to enjoy a large, familial ground - and it's extremely important to the Primrose to be with family. Even extended family is considered very important. As such, this concept was nearly branded into the girl's mind since she was very, very young - everything she did was for the sake of the family, good or bad. Many called her then, and call her now, selfless, and dedicated to the concept of her family. But her youth, one could say, was quite interesting. Several charges of assault, battery and even theft are capable of being tracked on her record - along with jail time, for being an accessory to murder. There's a long, long list of charges, minor and major. However, these records are from her teenage to early thirties, as she was finally released at the age of thirty-two. She is a widow if you look at the same record, having married barely a year out of prison, but kept excellent parole and good relations. Also then, one could notice that both of her parents had died during her time in prison, and that her sister that was ten years younger then her seemed to be doing well in life, having become a secretary. However, one can notice that her sister's daughter was in fact, around seven at the time of her aunt's release. And that their parents did pass about a year before her release, so she had to miss the funeral. Since then, it seemed she was on the straight and narrow - and she hasn't broken that promise. Tragedy however, seemed to strike the family in several cases - her sister died, along with several parents of children. It seemed like the once large family had a stroke of large misfortune. What was important is that this woman took in all of the family's orphan, immediately blood related to her or distantly didn't seem to matter. She raised them all, and supported them all financially with the family's fortunes, giving them to the children as they came of age. She's still a caretaker and adviser to them all. There is more then that however, and that's not something one can find in the biography of her life. Theresa, an elegant woman that took a lot of rich lessons as a child, one that has seen jail time and the worst of people, and finally, a woman that took in all of the orphans and tried to be their mother then they felt alone. She dedicated her life to family - the accessory to murder was done with her elder cousin. The two had killed a man that had been blackmailing the cousin's mother into doing things, but kept the whole reason under wraps. Assaults on bullies, theft on those that stole her family's possessions, all of her crimes she could pin point to people a reason, something to do with her family. But she kept quiet about it for all of these years. And she didn't leave those she took care of defenseless either. Making friends with people, getting them lessons, teaching them a way of life - she named their haven 'Lotus'. They were a small group, perhaps comparable to the mafia or a gang, that did what they needed to, to survive and prosper. And now, she's retired from 'Lotus' actively, but she still guides them, and still seeks the children from their family that are lost. She took the entirety of Lotus on their break to several places, landing in Georgia in between travelling sessions. And that's when they were caught up in the game, unable to reach out. Since then, she has made sure to appropriate herself a place for them all. She's heard of children needing her help here as well, and has been tempted to open an orphanage for a while. Still on the fence, she guides the precious 'Lotus' as their mother, their creator, and the root of them all. She makes sure to use her long experience, her understanding of the world, and to stay with the actual world they're in, all in a way to take advantage of what they need to survive. Her simple wish was concerned with only her family 'I wish I could soothe them as I once needed to be.' she had asked. Insignia Level 1 "Calming Touch" - Level 1 - It helps Theresa soothe people around her that might be unstable emotionally. She activates this by touching them with the hand whom's wrist is marked with the insignia. After the touch, it sends a soothing, comforting wave through the person, as long as they don't reject her touch. The soothing pulses last for as long as the target is touched. The more body contact there is, the more effective the ability is. The longer the pulses are sent out, it starts giving Theresa a migraine, and chest pains as well. Generally, it's best for her to desist after fifteen minutes, else wise the pains start to spike, remaining for a long period afterwards. Passively, it seems that her insignia allows her to be more calm then normal, her emotional imbalance very hard to achieve, taking a lot more then normal to snap her control. It's like she's able to just push back her emotional breakdowns further and further and further, often trading the long periods of calm for a large explosion when it's finally allowed. The insignia is right over her pulse, and looks like a tattoo, a circled heart, with a lotus blossom inside. Extra Yes, she does dye her hair to keep it to it's natural glossy black, unwilling to let people see her old age already. Lucky for her, the family lines run in the 'looking young' category. She actually has some tattoos here and there, rarely showing them, along with a few scars too. She seems to keep herself elegant and refined most of the time, her clothing impeccable, and her hair braided in the front, both to let her hair hide the back of her neck, and to make sure it doesn't get tangled. However, if her hair should be unbraided, it is long and straight, accentuating her sharp features. She also has calloused hands, and if one is looking for it, wrinkles that do declare her age.
