I wouldn't stop you from taking out the trash." History Xander is by birth the youngest of nine children belong to Vincenzo and Remilia Cusanelli. His father was Capo for the mafia in the area of italy he was intended to be raised in. Unfortunately a rival clan whom was trying to for them out of their region abducted his mother and during the time she was held hostage she gave birth to Xander. Xander was taken from his mother and taken out of the country were documents of his existence were forged in order to get him out of Europe entirely. This series of events lead to a rather bloody and brutal conflict between the two families which ended in the arrests of several members, including his father, who was later murdered in prison while awaiting his connections to pull through. Xander's mother passed away sometime during his delivery so there was no chance that she could have sought to reclaim him to begin with. Xander's whereabouts had gone unknown for a great deal of time until, but during that time the mafioso that had taken him to the united states had left him with a family of associates that were supposed to take care of him until they could figure out what to do with him. Though once no contact was made to inform them of what to do with him, at the age of three, he was dumped at the front steps of a hospital. No one knew who he was or where he came from so he was put into the system with the rest of the abandoned children. Given the name Xander because of the name that was on a bracelet he wore. He was known as Xander Hall for the better part of his life. Growing up in the system and moving from home to home left Xander without the belief that he would ever have anyone that really cared about or wanted him. He was very good at lying and playing people for fools. He often made people regret ever relying on him despite how reliable of a person he was. He always made them regret it. His bad behaviors were noticeable from the age of eight when he started to beat up on the other foster children or force them to do things he wanted them to. Like steal or cater to him like he was some sort of king. If they didn't listen to him he'd get angry and beat them up. He preyed upon those smaller and weaker than himself because of this need to get his way. When Xander was a teenager he began to associate with a local gang in his area. After surviving his initiation and passing it with flying colors he was praised and for the first time he felt like he had a 'family.' These people were his family, no matter what they wanted him to do, once he did it they would always give him what he wanted. By the time he was sixteen he'd already been in juvenile hall twice for two sentences for the crimes of battery. After that he became smarter about the way he dealt with people he was sent after. The state threatened to send him out of state in hopes that it would get him away from the 'bad crowd', but such a thing never happened. He ran away from his foster home at seventeen and at eighteen they stopped looking for him. He lived on the streets until he was twenty one when he was approached by a man with a thick accent and hanging gut. He was asked if he was Xander Cusanelli and despite telling the man the name the states had given him he was shown a picture of his father. Whom looked a great deal like him to begin with. Xander had no idea who the man in the picture was, but it didn't seem like there was any doubt in the stranger's mind. Xander more or less told the man to f*** off and started about on his business when he was cut off by another car. The people he was with went into immediate alert and they tried to get Xander to run. Being the sort of person he was Xander refused to do so. A group of people in suits got out of their vehicle and those members of his 'family' took off running leaving him behind to go get the rest of their group. Though by the time they returned Xander was gone. He'd been asked to get into the car quietly and he did without much care over the matter in a whole. He was blindfolded and taken somewhere to meet a man that would later claim to be a relative. Everything about his life was explained to him and he in the end he just accepted it. After all, working with a group more powerful than some street game was a much better option wasn't it? Besides they'd left him behind with these guys anyhow even if they had gone to get the rest of the guys; idiots. It wasn't long after during one of his first jobs that he was attacked by one of the people he had gone to 'punish' and battery acid was thrown at his face. The injuries left him blind in both eyes and scarred. He was looked down upon by some of the family when they found out how easily he'd failed, but his uncle and others were furious and dealt with the man themselves. After his face had healed he began to wear blindfolds intentionally to hide the scaring mostly. He learned to live blind and in the end it only helped him be more aware of his surroundings and the vocal cues people made. At twenty-two he was back in the game and stronger than ever, but still he regretted ever letting his guard down enough to blinded in the first place. When the event happened Xander wished that he would no longer be scarred by the mistake of his past. The scars on his face disappeared and the damage done to his eyes as well as they were both the scars of his past mistake. This allowed for the return of his vision and along his index finger his insignia appeared. Xander's presence in the state is just another factor in his life he can't explain and he doesn't particularly care to try to. He doesn't know how the event happened, or how he got there, but now he's living his life as if it had always been this way. The few members of his family that ended up here with him are the only reminder to him that he has luck on his side in the long run. . Insignia Level 1 "Bang!" - Level 1 - Xander's insignia is an arrow along the inside of his index finger that resembles a black arrow.  To activate it he presses his index finger to his forehead and then aims it toward his target.  The "bang!" ability allows him to send an arrow of energy toward a target that will temporarily paralyze them if they are hit by it.  The paralysis only lasts 20 minutes at this level and his finger must be ungloved and aimed at his target.   A person heightened endurance's effect time will be shorter and they are more difficult to effect. A person who has a skill that increases their speed or agility may also make it easier for him to miss.  The energy can pass through objects, but doing so will weaken the effect. For example, if someone blocked his attack with a book and the energy traveled through the book only the part of them connected to the book would become paralyzed. I.E their hands.   If the object used to block is not touched at all then no effect is taken by the person at this level. "V" - Passive -  Xander's passive is a white and pink moth that he can barely understand half the time. It's tiny voice is more of an annoyance to him than it is anything he actually listens to.  It's wing span covers the size of Xander's face. Extra ☠ He has no idea what it means to be cared for or to care for someone else. ☠ He hates all bugs.  ☠ Xander is left-handed. ☠ Doesn't understand the concept of popularity. ☠ Thinks a job is a job and he leaves his morals behind to get the job done.  ☠ Lies and says that he installs cable for a living. ☠ Pretty quick to abandon people that don't make him feel important.  ☠ Doesn't run away from things even if he is scared inside. ☠ Tends to use most people. ☠ Enjoys black licorice.  ☠ Drives a motorcycle because it means he doesn't have to be delivery boy.  ☠ Only obeys people who earn his trust and prove that they are stronger than him. ☠ Does have a juvenile record.  ☠ Never leaves home without his handgun.  ☠ Almost always carries multiple weapons.  ☠ Is knowledgeable about hazardous chemicals. ☠ Has his G.E.D, but no college experience.
