History Lily was born in Italy to Mischa and Aryanna Zyomin during a turbulent time in their lives. She doesn’t remember much about her early years but from the very beginning, Liliya knew that she was loved even if her parents didn’t necessarily love each other. Lily would grow up in Russia without realizing how at odds her parents were with each other; she hated screaming though and would cry loudly until it stopped. More often than not, this would be enough to make the screaming and yelling stop and eventually, things seemed to simmer down. In her early years, it was obvious that Lily would be an adventurous one and would get into anything and everything. She was running before she learned how to walk and was overall a happy, low maintenance child that loved to spend every minute with her parents, especially daddy since he seemed to be gone a lot of the time. Most of the time she spent with her mother and that was alright, but Lily longed to be with her father and feel his arms around her. He was her princess after all, and didn’t a princess need her prince? School was a new adventure for Lily who, unlike most anxious sad kids was excited to see what lay beyond those four walls that had been talked about so often. She made friends quickly and easily and loved every minute of it, especially recess when they were actually encouraged to play outside. Sure, there were a few bullies but nothing they said or did seemed to faze her and any insults rolled off like water on a ducks back. Some of the teachers believed she had some form of attention deficit disorder, but in truth, Lily was just an active child who was too trusting for her own good. One day after school, some strangers dressed in black suits just like daddy wore came to get her. They told her that she had been such a good girl that she was going to get an ice cream cone and that her daddy would come to get her later. Excited, Lily agreed readily and hurried to grab her things before taking the hand of one of the men. Just then, Aryanna came and saw her daughter with the strangers and immediately rushed over and jerked Lily away from them. Surprised, Lily cried out from such a harsh reaction but didn’t have time to ask why Mommy had done that before she was picked up and driven home without another word. Once they got home, Aryanna sat her down and asked exactly what the men had said to her. When Lily had told her what happened, for some reason Aryanna looked scared before hugging her close. Lily was given ice cream after that and anything else she wanted as an apology of sorts, but for what exactly she didn’t know. After Mischa got home later that day, Aryanna started yelling at him, scaring Lily in the process. She couldn’t remember seeing Mommy this angry before, ever and then Daddy started yelling too and gesturing to her like she was in trouble. Lily ran to her room, sobbing and scared about what was going to happen to her. The yelling didn’t stop for a while but when it did, Mischa came to find her and held her until she calmed down. He explained what had happened that had made Mommy yell and that she should never talk to strangers again without him or her mom again to which Lily nodded fervently and promised to do what he said. For some reason, Daddy was sad after that which Lily didn’t understand but she tried to be happy no matter what. If she was happy, then Mommy and Daddy would both be happy, of that Lily was almost certain of. She tried her best to be there for her mom and dad but something had changed and she wasn’t quite sure what had happened. A couple years later, they would move to America which was upsetting to say the least. Lily didn’t want to leave all her friends behind but Mommy seemed to be happy about it and Daddy said that it was because of his job and they would be a family there. This made Lily feel a little better about the move and made him promise that he was telling the truth before smiling again and doing her best to make the best of the move. Things were different in America, but one thing that Lily noticed right away was that Mommy was much happier and this way she was able to get closer to her uncle. Lily was dropped off a lot at her uncle’s house when she went somewhere. Sometimes, her uncle would just pick her up if Daddy wasn’t around, which was more often than not now. It upset Lily more than she let on but then again it made the times Daddy came to visit that much more exciting. She didn’t exactly understand why he had to be away so often, or why Mommy liked to be away so much but that didn’t matter, as long as Mommy was happy too. When the event happened, Lily didn’t know what to make of the person that had called themselves a god and after all, Daddy had told her not to talk to strangers. In fact, Lily almost didn’t make a wish but then blurted out that she wanted Daddy to be around more just like he used to. Above all else, Lily wanted to be a family again just like they had been before, or at least as close to happy as they could be. Her wish was granted and Daddy was around more often, though not as often as she would have liked. Afterwards, Lily was given an insignia and a power which she would find out about accidentally when she went to hug Daddy goodnight. It was scary when she suddenly passed out but when Lily realized that it had healed him, she was ecstatic. Perhaps now they could be happy together, and she wouldn’t have to see him hurt all the time, at least not now that she could do something about it. Insignia Level 1 Liliya’s insignia is a Celtic love knot in the palm of her hand. She has to clasp both hands together as if she’s praying in order to use her power and usually wears fingerless gloves to keep it covered so she doesn’t accidentally activate it. Healing Touch - Level 1 – When Lily activates her power, she is able to heal small cuts, bruises, and scrapes and to some extent shallow stab wounds. The deeper and more serious the injury is, the more energy she needs to exert in order to heal the injury. She is not able to heal any of her own injuries at this level and needs to be able to touch the inflicted area in order to heal it. Lily can only heal a three to five injuries in a row depending on the severity of it before she risks blacking out from exertion. Passive – Sunshine is a golden teddy bear that looks like a normal child’s toy. The bear can talk but only Lily can understand what it is saying. Normally Lily takes Sunshine wherever she goes but the bear can just disappear and reappear at random intervals to try and scare unsuspecting victims. Sunshine has a limited range of movement and can wave, turn her head, and make her eyes glow. She is oddly protective of Lily for a stuffed toy and can make her usually plush fur needle sharp at the worst possible moment should anyone else try to touch her. Extra Lily loves ice cream no matter the weather, especially if it’s chocolate. She loves My Little Pony; Pinkie Pie is her favorite. She is a Daddy’s girl and will do anything for him.
