Angelique Claire Rosstrillo was the oldest of the Identical twins by a whole minute and twenty eight seconds. Not only did she have her twin to keep her company, but an older brother and older sisters to boot. She was blessed to be born to a wealthy family and wanting of nothing. She was loved and nurtured throughout the years. If mama and papa were too busy, her big brother or sisters were always there to see to her needs. Angie couldn't be a happier child. Her world was magical. Filled with stories of kingdoms filled with kings, queens, and royalty of all sorts. Chivalrous knights and adventures.
The thing was, these were not fairy tales. Her father Miguel was passing down stories that were based on truth of their family's past and heritage. The Rosstillos were an ancient family that could trace back hundreds of years in their native France. Her mother was also from an old noble family. Her father was so creative in how he passed down their heritage. Angie was told she was actually a princess. All the sibs were princesses and of course her big brother was a prince. It was true, as far as they knew. Its just that France went a step further when they replaced their government from a monarchy to a democracy. They did not allow the old noble families to keep their tittles publicly like the English did. Still, their wealth was based purely on precious metals and gems, so that it continued to grow as those things grew in value.
Angie and her twin were all about energy. They seemed to have endless supplies, as do a lot of children. Younger sibs followed. All girls, of course. But Papa was not bitter about it. He had his firstborn Son Alex to carry the Rosstillo name forward. He was also careful with how he tempered the whole nobility thing. He explained to the girls that though it was true, that it should not be flaunted. They should not expect special treatment or anything other than normal from their friends or the public in general. His moral code was the foundation of the family, and he was sure to instill it in his children.
The primary school days were happy times for Angie. She was smart, popular, and well liked. She just had that optimistic and positive glow to her. Always had a smile, and always did her best to share her happiness with everyone. The fact that she and her twin Jackie drew attention simply by dressing alike and being so close was a plus. The other kids just seemed to gravitate towards them, if not just out of curiosity. Angie was always the better liked of the two. Jackie was a bit abrasive at times and had rubbed some people the wrong way, it seemed. Angie couldn't figure that out. Jackie seemed perfect to her. Still, she didn't like it if when people didn't get along with her twin, and she made it a point to stay away from them because of it. The same was true for the opposite end of things. Angelique did not like when people got too close to her twin either. She always seemed to intervene in ways that would make her twin focus on her instead. It was selfish, but she couldn't help herself.
This was also the time that Miguel thought they were old enough to share in his enjoyment of the outdoors. Her big brother Alex and older sisters had been going for years, but the twins were still too young before. Angie's first time under the stars was a bit challenging. She was used to her soft and plush mattress and the sleeping bag took some getting used to. Sharing Jackie's helped her through that first night, and after that there was so much to learn. But once she knew about campfires, and tents, and outdoor life, she LOVED it! There seemed to be nothing that Papa could not do or did not know. Hiking, fishing, camping, boating, and even limited hunting. Papa would not expose the twins to firearms until they were much older. Angie didn't like guns though. Though she learned all about everything from him in the years that followed, the first hunting trip was also her last.
Then there was the summer house in America. Angie found it so fascinating. It was a beautiful country, and she looked forward to all her summer days spent there at their Georgia beach house. She loved America so much that she put quite a bit of effort into learning English so that she did not have to walk around with an interpreter. Her twin did not share in this, but it was okay. Angie would translate for her, so really she did not need to learn too much English. Angie also took other languages while in high school. She seemed to have a nack for picking it up quickly.
Unlike her twin though, Angie was not very interested in sports. She had a lazy streak in her that didn't see the need to expend energy in competitions of those sorts. She was a princess, after all. Sports were for boys. Instead she focused on Ballet, Theatre and fencing, and of course the calling of most of the Rosstillo sibs. Pageants!. Other than those differences, the twins shared a love for fashion, so she was a little materialistic when it came to clothes and shoes. She was encouraged to try many different activities and hobbies. Her mother was all about expanding horizons and finding ones calling.
Angelique kept in shape by taking Aikido martial arts classes. This came about after the twins noticed the trouble their brother was having in school. No matter how much mama and papa tried to shield her from the ugly truth, the bruises and other signs were not something that could be explained away. Not when it happened so often. She was young and in no possition to be able to help her brother in any way, other than to continue to love him and try to brighten his day after "incidents" occured. They frightened her and she didn't like violence or hurting people and wanted to be able to protect herself while also protecting the aggressor. It was perfect for the small girl. Size did not matter. One played into the momentum of the aggressor's attacks to protect oneself.
High School started out normally in France. Angie and her twin had completed their first year successfully. However, over summer vacation things would change dramatically for Angie and her family. They would become trapped within the God's toy box and would find themselves unable to leave the united states to go back to their native France.
On the day of the Event she and her twin were approched by a person claiming to be a God. Normally weary of total strangers, Angie found that she was not the least bit frightened of concerned. A wish was requested from her, but Angie couldnt't think of a single thing she wanted. She had everything the could ever need and could simply ask mama and papa for anything she could think of. But then, there was that last peice of molten chocolate souffle' she'd turned down. Ballet recitals were comming up and she didn't want to take a chance on gaining any weight. Alex helped himself to it instead, and she really wanted it. The God smilled at Angie and took hold of her wrist and her twin's before disapearing. What was left behind was curious indeed.
Insignia Level 1
The twins share an an insignia of a double dragon that was joined at the wings(hands) The god gave each twin a dragon that is located on the outer side of Angie's right wrist. They don't know it yet, but joining the dragons to make them whole by touching their wings together otherwise in contact with each other, the twins can share a twin perk of sharing the cost of using their power after the fact. It does not increase their powers any. Its simply something that is useful after its use. Angie's headache lessens slightly while her twin suffers mental strain herself. Condenser - Level 1 - Covering the dragon on her wrist with ther oposite hand gives Angie the ability to increase or decrease the density of any object up to 3 times its normal weight for items already weighing 50lb or less, or up to twice for anything over 50lb. In other words she makes things lighter or heavier without affecting or changing the object in any other way. The effect on larger objects is gradual, taking up to 10 seconds. Instant on small objects. The effect only lasts as long as she is applying her power to it, if she stops, the object reverts to its normal density instantly. That being said, She can switch from making things heavy to light instantly by turning it off and then reversing the effect.
Angie must concentrate on the objects she is to affect. This causes her mental strain that leads to headaches. The longer she concentrates the worse the pain until it is so bad that she cannot concentrate at all and could even loose consciousness.
"Companion" - passive- A rat that Angie has named Jinx is her pet as well as her companion. He seems to come and go at his leisure. Popping up wherever he feels like it, usually when there is food to be had. When he decides to hang around he is like any other pet rat, except he seems to understand when spoken to by Angie. Whether or not he listens to what she says, however, is dependent on what treat his is given or promised. Jinx has no access to the power of her insignia.
Extra Literally anything extra. If you want to go into more detail about anything above, add trivia/etc to the character, then please do so. Likes/Dislikes- anything that you wish to go into, you can put it here.
