With his mother more than caring and his father someone who could care less, the family life was extremely tense right off the bat. While his father claimed that he loved them, his father was much too narcissistic to even understand the basic meaning of love. While his father controlled them to a ludicrous point- he and his mother were always very sheltered. It was hard on him- but much harder on his mother. He was taught to be a very submissive person and that his father was always right and no one should disobey him. His mother however started a plan, that Xavier was unaware of- though in hindsight he wasn't sure he would ever try himself. - His mother started to poison his father slowly but surely. She did not believe she could handle her life on her own- and she did not want her son to suffer anymore. It took a month- and she had killed him. With that, she sent her son to the neighbor's with a note. He was thirteen- but he knew something was off. As he knocked on the next door neighbor's door, they heard a loud bang. Handing them the note- dreading that noise- they quickly called the cops and when the cops broke down the door- Xavier saw his mother on the floor- a gunshot wound to the head. It was the first time he ever screamed that he could remember. He doesn't remember much- just the image of his mother and his loud shrieks. - Since he had no close family, he was sent into the foster system. Submissive and quiet he was never a problem. He however was never adopted. He was too old for most foster parents and he moved to several different homes. It was in his fifth home he found himself very lucky. The home next door to his foster parents was a very new family. With a small boy who idolized Xavier. In a surprise- for his sixteen birthday he was adopted. While he was awkward, he was very thankful and tried to do everything he could for his new family. He kept the house clean and did chores without asking. He was always the child who tried too hard. The mother was a teacher however and seemed downright obsessed with making sure he had a education. Xavier was a smart boy and got quite a bit down. Taking the GED he got into college though he's now very out of his element. He feels like he's always falling behind the other students. However his foster mother tells him not fear, she'll help him with all the things needed. Including on how to make friends. To help him- she got him a job in a small pet store. He most likes to take care of the fish and reptiles- and he's second in command with his quick grasp of knowledge when it comes to books and terms. - The 'event' came to a little confused teenager. His wish of all things was to have long hair like his mother from his five year old self. His hair had turned a ivory white-greyish silver. No matter how he cuts it- it tends to grow back overnight. Put in the Neutral Faction, he only felt a bit of a relief. Neither was he Law or Criminal, leaving him a moderately satisfied opinion on the whole thing. He couldn't let down his foster family since he never actually fell in a super good or super bad alignment. Insignia Level 1 "Under the Sea" - Level 1 - Xavier was given the ability to breathe underwater for a very short time. Whether it's salt water or fresh water- his insignia is able to give him a very temporary brief ability to breathe underwater. While he has to wear goggles- as his eyes aren't able to see in salt water like everyone else, he is able to breathe in it. He's a naturally fast swimmer- though when his insignia activates it's a bit easier to swim as well. The insignia is a skeleton key type of tattoo on the inside of his elbow. His passive is mostly a quiet type of one, not speaking often or making a complete integration with Xavier's life. In fact, it rarely speaks. Xavier named her 'Tehya' after a fantasy creature in his fairy tale books as a child. The times she has shown up, she comes to be that very same creature. It is a cat like creature with antlers on it's head and soft mossy colored translucent wings. Extra Likes cakes - His foster family has spoiled him with birthday cakes and all kinds of sweets that he had never found before. His foster parents are very supportive in him gaining a few extra pounds with how little he actually eats after all. Bookworm - He's a major bookworm. Good with texts he shows a advanced skill in understanding and comprehension. Higher than most his age he seems to be able to retain and recall knowledge at text-based subjects. He seems to have a lower skill in social adaptability and things that cannot be read. For example he would get lost looking at a map, but if the directions were typed out, he wouldn't get lost. Pets are his favorite, hence his job - He really does like his job at his pet store. The different animals, the different people- he's learned quite a bit interacting with people who have the same interests. It's helped him understand quite a bit with the basic population and how to act normally at least with people he can get along with. Trivia Junkie - He likes game shows. Board Games are his favorites - Just don't play Monopoly with him and you'll be perfectly fine. Monopoly seems to be the only game he can downright tear hell up and people aren't sure how he's either so lucky or ridiculously good with money. Politically Knowledgeable - His foster mother constantly teaches him that he should be aware of the world around him and that includes politics. Likes church architecture - There's just something about them that are beautiful for him. He likes crosses and tends to like seeing the different ways someone can design such a simple shape. Nonsqueamish - He saw many things as a child, he seems to be terribly desensitized to violence and blood. Though he still screams during horror movies. Shark tooth necklace - For his 18th birthday- his foster brother decided to get him a present. Knowing Xavier had a passion for the beach, he got his brother a shark-tooth necklace that Xavier loves to death. It's usually hidden under his shirts but he's always wearing it.
