Not literal war, but political war. Constant edgy people on constant edgy platforms as the world kept evolving too fast for most children to bear. Elizabeth was a girl born to a rather dedicated family- and those who used a family platform - so she certainly had moments with her father and mother. She felt no ill will as she realized she was there for photoshoots- or felt that it was strange that she had to hold herself correctly. Dresses were donned, etiquette was shoved down her throat, and she was never fooled by the world. This isn't to say that she hates it however or that she's out to prove something wrong- she simply was never lied to. Santa Claus was the biggest lie her parents told her- and she found that one for herself. Otherwise her family kept her in the light- told her and showed her what people were early on. Showed her the political world at her feet and expected her to put a puzzle together. She again...did it. She did not resent it, but her earlier years were always wrapped up in some ridiculous education standard or even worse, parties where she had to entertain guests that cared nothing about her. She wasn't lonely- she had few friends- but she rarely confided in them and grew up in the status of a very tough woman even at her young age. A conniving one none the less- but she learned how to use her words and her title to get things what she wanted. She knew if she gave in return- it would always be overlooked however. Life was a give and trade and a take and win. This is how life began and continued for Elizabeth Chancellor. A girl seemingly a perfect doll for her parents. A senator's daughter. She had a very good relationship with her butlers and the 'help'- often treating them as family and loving them. She got close to a man who had a rather rambunctious boy- around her age. It was her maid that found the dead body of the man she had gotten close to. She had quickly helped make arrangements and preferred to pay for everything. He was family- he was one of hers. This is when she actually met the rambunctious son, Vergil. Strange boy none the less- but she found him drastically different from her and found a little thrill that he was such...just so much different! As she took to more of high school and college- he finally did submit himself to her to be her main butler. She never really understood the archaic traditions- but never questioned him and went with it. Plus, she had gotten rather close to how he acted and his words. He was different than those who were nice to her because of her rank or her family. While her family had this bond, she believed they forged one past such archaic measures. College passed- and she got a job as a paralegal. It was rather different- people treating her for the work she turned in and her personality rather than rank. It was refreshing- she /loved/ it. It energized her and she quickly set her sights on becoming the paralegal for the assistant DA so she could learn much more about the law programs. When the event happen- Law's proxies were rather strange to her- but she didn't question why or what they were. They explained themselves and gave her a chance for her wish. She finally picked one that wouldn't give her a quick advantage- but one that would help her. One that would help her learn and comprehend faster. She highly doubt it would work- but waking up to a a floating bat that seemed to tell her the whole thing was true- and her mother and father missing? She...supposed she had to believe it. Insignia Level 1 "Shadow Whip" - Level 1 - A simple ability that uses the user's shadow as a actual physical weapon. Light can easily diminish it's power- but only in a focused ray. Flashlights, lanterns, etc, will be able to completely strip away the power of the whip. It is exactly five foot long- minus the whip handle. It can cause injuries on other people- but can also be used to catch herself if she needed to fall. She has to be standing still when she summons it- but can move after it's summoned. Also the force of her arms is the force of the whip- which is not strong. The insignia is a colorful rose tattoo on the back of her neck. The black thorny stems reach into her hairline- but the rose is located about an inch below it. Her passive is a simple bat like spirit who calls her 'princess' and other such names. It's rather absentminded and she normally calls it 'Teddy'- because of his rather cute voice but rather imposing appearance. It simply seems like a black and wispy creature with four wings and bright yellow eyes. It has a large grin that is almost neon white- circle for a mouth. Extra Loves Tea - She is not a total coffee fan. While she can drink it- she prefers tea. She has a taste for rather strong teas that she can add lemon or honey to. She also prefers to make the drink or let Vergil make it. Because of this she's been known to turn down some cups of tea. Books are amazing - She's constantly wanting to read new books and get new things to read. She loves books and she'll hoard all kinds of books to her home. Politically wise - Her father is a senator- so she's often quite knowledgeable on political climates. Halloween is her favorite holiday - She dresses as a gothic lolita most of the time- this would probably be a bit obvious. The older an item is, the more she's fascinated - History and things of that sort fascinate someone like her terribly. She always wants to find something new and old so she can find out more about it. Gets irritated by those who say politics is boring or people are out for money - While yes - a grand amount of them are- some are not, and her father is not one of those people. She loathes those who speak out of their mouth without thinking about the true passion the job takes when one doesn't have greed as a motivator. She loves bats - Obvious She can cook, she doesn't like to - Well besides the fact that she doesn't like to stand for long periods of times....Vergil needs a job and she certainly won't ever take that away from him. Video games are lost on her - She didn't grow up with video games and is often lost if someone tries to explain their fascination to her. Loves roses - Romance, love, friendship, life, death, roses can mean so many different things and they're all so much fun to grow and take care of!
